Video: Timelapse recovery video of a cat following sectioning of the spinal cord and implantation of NeuroGel™
The cat shown in this video underwent a double surgical section of the thoracic spinal cord, followed by an immediate implantation of NeuroGel™ (see macrograph in the scientific results section of this site). The surgery was performed in May 1997 and the treadmill training was carried out until February 1998; the film shows a progressive recovery of the locomotor function of the animals hind limbs.
